Why are the holidays synonymous with chaos? Packages, baked goods, luggage, treats, gifts and children must all somehow make it into the car without losing anyone. Our printable kid’s holiday packing list can help youngsters know exactly what they need to do in an attention-grabbing way which we hope means they are (slightly) more likely to follow it. Let’s print and get ready to enjoy the giving season!
Kid’s Holiday Packing List
Over the River and Through the Woods
Heading to visit family but your pre-holiday preparing currently resembles an opening scene from Home Alone? Tame the chaos a bit with a printable packing list that will help the kids learn how to get themselves ready for the trip. (I can’t promise their luggage won’t still be stuffed full of toys!)

Jingle all the Way
Our kid’s holiday packing list features a handy weather report and activities section. Parents can fill in the daily temperatures and expected outings so children learn to think through these planning stages. If they forget what you said, it’s cutely noted in your handwriting to remind them. You can jot how many days and nights you will be gone, ensuring enough pajamas make it into the suitcase.
Ten lines for listing clothing items, seventeen spots for listing toiletries, blankets, pillows, medications and snow boots plus a large “Remember to Pack” section means there is absolutely no way they should arrive without underwear.
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
The wintery outdoors design is perfect for winter, Christmas or New Year’s travel plans. Hopefully it will help them remember to pack hats, gloves, coats and everything they need for whatever activity is planned.
(We’ve got an Autumn themed packing list that is perfect for Thanksgiving here!)
And to All a Good Night!
May this kid’s holiday packing list help you to have less yuletide trouble and more silent nights!
