It’s the Most Pumpkiny Time of the Year
I think I’ve mentioned that I love autumn a dozen times already but unless you live in the suffocating heat of the Gulf Coast, it is hard to understand how life-giving that first chilly wind feels. I throw open my doors, let the house air out and celebrate that the six (or seven?) months of summer heat are over.
While the breeze blows through my home I begin to thumb through my cinnamony recipes, hunting for something that will make my kitchen smell fantastic while it bakes. Most of these recipes are found on pumpkin-adorned recipe cards because I simply love the shape and colors of pumpkins and changing leaves.
